I actually cannot believe that we’ve literally got a day and a bit until 2017. It’s startling, terrifying, and exhilarating all at the same time. What a year 2016 has been. I’m definitely ready to take the bull by its horns and rock the New Year.
My New Year’s message to you all is simple. Let’s finish off, what has been a challenging year to say the least for many, brave and strong, and let’s look towards 2017 with fresh eyes and excitement.
Who knows what 2017 will bring. Obviously, like everyone else, I have my hopes pinned on a few things happening professionally and personally, but as I strive towards them and try and bring them to reality, I will remain well heeled and in check.
I’m almost certain 2017 will come with its own set of challenges, but even in the darkest of moments, I will continue to look up to the stars to guide me through. I will remember everything that I have achieved thus far and use my failures as learning experiences. I’ll be kind to my heart and body, and search for experiences, people and things that will make them happy and healthy.
I will continue to be my own hero and bring those people I find inspirational along for the ride. As I write this, there’s one thing on my mind, and finally I’ve given myself the permission I need for it all to come to fruition.
Christmas is done and dusted, and what a fabulous time it was, and now 2017 is finally here. I won’t spend it getting blind drunk like the rest of the country, instead I’ll be sipping on my selective wines and figuring out my game plan for 2017. It’s going to be huge!
This brings me to one of my New Year’s resolutions, which is tied to wine! No, I’m not giving up wine, it’s not Lent nor is it detox time. Instead I’m going to explore more of the wine world, drinking better wines, widening my wine repertoire, increasing my wine knowledge, traveling to some lesser known wine regions…this, unlike diets and other ridiculous restrictions, is one New Year’s resolution I’m bound to keep. You can read more about my New Year’s wine resolutions soon.
Hygge has also caught my attention recently. Want to know more about this intriguing Danish trend? Make sure to stay tuned and follow http://www.coutureandvines.com.
And before I sign off, I’d like to share the following:
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
Happy 2017 – Get that Champagne popping!
