Jeans, Jeans and More Jeans – Day 2 NYC

Jeans, jeans and more jeans…that’s what people attending day 2 of the NYC Fashion Week wore, and God am I happy about this.

I love jeans, and anything denim for that matter! I’m of the mind that you can give a person the right pair of jeans, and they’ll conquer the world!

Jeans are classic items no matter how you look it. They’ve been around for years, and they’re definitely not going anywhere. They’re also what I feel most comfortable in – I seriously wish I could wear jeans to work on a daily basis!

Yeah, jeans trends change like the wind – it’s so hard to keep up, but over the years, I’ve learned that your jeans style doesn’t matter – it’s all about how you orchestrate the look. Wear your jeans with confidence!

Day 2 of New York Fashion Week saw showgoers go super casual, taking away all the negative connotations of Fashion Week shows and showgoers.

Wearing jeans is synonymous with everyday American cult fashion, so it’s quite possible Raf Simons’ debut for Calvin Klein inspired showgoers to stick to the all-American classic, after all, his first campaign for CK was all about his signature denim range.

The fashion set upped the ante when it came to dressing up the jeans. Shunning the traditional white t-shirt and jeans look, it was all about colourful puffer jackets, faux fur coats and brightly-hued cross body satchels instead…it’s love!

I’m all over this more casual look – it’s definitely me. There’s something refreshingly cool about streetwear and that effortless chic look is just as endearing!

Faux green gilets, clashing blood red sweaters, distressed jeans and clunky shoes – it’s a mismatched look that just works. This is proof that all it takes is to wear your jeans with confidence.

Stop the traffic with the classic straight-leg jeans cut teamed with a customary bomber…I’m loving the starry look!
One of my favourite ensembles. This NYC Fashion Week showgoer brings together a cool pair of distressed denim mom jeans with the on-trend faux animal print coat. The red hoodie doesn’t look out of place either!
Actress Leelee Sobieski goes for the androgynous look with a pair of straight leg dark denim jeans, a pair of worn Converse trainers and a long open trench coat.
It’s not all about blue! White jeans also featured at the 2017 NYC Fashion Week. The classic Chanel chain purse in blush and black makes a popping statement to an otherwise plain coloured outfit.
Bold sunglasses and a long open maxi coat pair beautifully with an unconventional pair of culotte style white jeans.
