It’s time to get my airport outfits ready – NZ get ready!
I’m going home to NZ, I can’t fricken wait! I miss home so much, and no matter how long I live away from it, it’ll always be home. At times, I’m very tempted to pack it all in here given everything that’s going on and what has gone on and just go back to the security of my friends and family. I’ve said it over and over again that I’m a Kiwi girl at heart, but the thing that kills me is the travel. Why does New Zealand have to to be on the other side of the world?
I’m going to be honest, I absolutely hate flying – I’m shit scared of it. I’ve flown around the world time and time again from a very young age and it still freaks me out. The slightest bit of turbulence puts me on edge and has me grabbing onto the poor unsuspecting soul who’s unfortunate enough to have been placed next to me (unless of course he’s a cute foreigner and then it’s a different story).
I wish I could just pop a few valium and have someone wake me up at the other end…drinking at altitude for so long really doesn’t cut it (although for once you could blame the disorientation and hangover on jet lag!) .
Obviously my fear of flying is one problem, but then there’s the clothes. Long-haul flights require comfy flying clothes aka airport outfits, but I abhor tracksuit pants and leggings – there’s a time and a place for these, and that’s the gym – I’m a firm believer in this!
There are a few celebs who’ve got their flying outfits down. Kendall Jenner’s airport outfits are a prime example, apart from the time she wore that velour tracksuit, but I won’t comment on that because I’m not Kendall Jenner who can virtually wear absolutely anything she wants and get away with it. Kendall’s not like the rest of the Kardashian clan – this girl’s got it going on when it comes to minimalistic class with an edge!
With only a few weeks to go, I’m already trying to figure out what to take and what to wear flying. Here are some of my favourite Kendall Jenner airport outfits. I’m packing my leggings, but for one thing only, and that’s to workout and keep up with my regime while at home.
For the record airport outfit numbers four and five are my favourites! They’re so simple and understated and it looks super comfy and cool at the same time – win! Kendall – I’m stealing your style!
